The communication with the hotel, prior to arrival, via booking.com messenger was excellent. I had actually booked Hotel Vinci, but cancelled and changed to Monte Cristo, due to their lack of proper communication. Monte Cristo booked us hotel transfers prior to arrival, gave me hotel recommendations, booked our pool access, and were on hand at all times to answer all questions to allow us to fully enjoy the experience! We were also very grateful for the excellent cleaning service provided through our stay. Our room was kindly cleaned and replenished daily, a lovely treat after a days exploring the city. We found the room beautiful and very Parisian, the size was very good - we booked the deluxe, I believe a lot of rooms in Paris are small, this room size and bathroom were perfect. The window doors opened up beautifully as shown in the images. We slept very comfortably. We walked into the stunning Latin Quarter daily, the popular Rue Mouffetard area had the best vibe and was so safe and welcoming. I found all Parisians more than happy to help and be kind, the streets immaculate. We found the best way to get around the city was to download the Vélib app and to cycle using the electric bikes. Minimal effort required and cycle lanes everywhere. Tip - green bikes are manual, teal colour electric. There is a drop off / pick up point end of our street. I wouldn't recommend Lime bikes as they need to be left within Paris city boundaries, not as far up as Latin Quarter. Would also recommend Bateaux Parisians evening meal cruise with a window seat - pre book online & hotel will book you taxi. Also recommend cycling to Montmartre, absolutely stunning! Although cycle fast via 10th Arr. Moulin Rouge is also over this side. I found the metro intimidating so electric bikes were our choice of travel.

Quirky but everything was very well done - decor (we loved the glass cabinets with birds and other animals in the entrance), to our cosy and beautiful room on the 6th floor with views across the rooftops of Paris. The bar, with the biggest collection of rums in France (3rd in the world) was a real surprise and delight. Joseph in the bar is a real connoisseur - definitely the place to try rum and learn about it. The bar also has a great vibe and the bar food is spot on - it’s a great place to chill. The swimming pool and sauna were lovely - really a treat for central Paris hotel. The staff were all welcoming and really want to please. The location is unbeatable- local cafes and restaurants everywhere, rue Mouffetard is a 60 second walk away, with its food stores, bakeries, delicatessens and so much more. In Rue Monge we can recommend Jules Restaurant, but there are many, many others to try. Plus the markets…!! Jardin des Plantes is a short walk - also not to be missed…and of course all of Paris is at your fingertips with the metro (3 min walk) and bus services

The whole atmosphere of the hotel is unique and amazing. It's not just the styling but how well maintained it is. There isn't one scratch on the paint or furniture, the bathroom impeccably clean - and this isn't something a will say often. On top of everything, the staff is uber nice and professional and the hotel transports you into another world with its storytelling and vibe, which is enhanced by the Rum bar situated in the hotel's lobby. It's a well known place by Parisians. I also heard only good things about the hotel's restaurant across the street, but didn't have the opportunity to try it out. The hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood away from the busy tourist area yet conveniently connected with several Bus and metro lines to the main attractions. There are many caffes and small restaurants nearby. It feels like a very safe part of Paris. I will revisit the hotel next time in Paris. It exceeded my expectations of a 4 star hotel in Paris.

The hotel is located in a great place, in my favorite part of Paris (I lived nearby during my studies and I have great fondness for the fifth arrondissement). Very comfortable beds, great cosmetics and a very pleasant interior of the hotel and the room itself. The service was very helpful. Another advantage was that the room was very quiet and you couldn't hear the Parisian bustle. Fantastic pool reservation system (available until 2 AM). A big plus (and surprise) was the bar, where you can try cocktails made with rum from different parts of the world. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take a break after sightseeing in Paris!

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Montecristo in April, in Paris, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of design, so chic with Parisian elegance and with modern comforts. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. The little bottle of their own rum blend we tried was so delicious! All the hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. I recommend to have dinner at their restaurant. The food is incredible! Overall, The Hotel Montecristo in Paris, made my trip unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris!
